Calling all Zoo Detectives! The eco-guards protecting wildlife in the African savannah at Bristol Zoo Project need your help!

Join us on a secret mission this February half-term to find the eco-guards' hidden location. Collect your case notes at the start of the trail and begin piecing together clues to find the secret hideout.

Learn the skills of an eco-guard along the way, from sending commands through a walkie-talkie and navigating with a compass, to studying animal tracks and camera traps! Remember, the mission must be kept secret – the illegal hunters can’t know you’re coming! Complete the free trail and receive a sticker reward.

The fun doesn't stop there! For all new 'eco-guards' there are fun games and activities waiting to be explored. Can you put your new skills to the test? It's not just the eco-guards who are hiding!

The Zoo Detectives family fun trail is a great way to engage young minds, where they'll have to work out clues and piece together information. It's aimed at those aged 2 to 12 years old, with additional detective challenges for older children.

New Explorers Basecamp

Ready to explore even further? Discover our new multi-level adventure play for all ages, needs, and abilities.

Explorers Basecamp is a three-storey play tower with slides, rope jungles, climbing walls, and so much more.

Based on a field station, which you’d find at one of our conservation project sites, the new adventure play offers kids the chance to learn about protecting species and habitats, through play.

Let the kids play all day. No time limits!
