7 Things to do at Bristol Zoo Project this Halloween

Follow the trail around the zoo to match x-rays and bones with the right animals! Discover how animals’ skeletons are adapted for their diet and lifestyles, finding out fun and surprising facts along the way! Don’t forget to visit the ‘House of Bones’ to get hands-on with animal artefacts — skulls, bones, skins and more. At the end of the trail, you can play a little game of trick or treat and get a surprise!

Step into the witch’s camp and join in with creepy craft-making or hear a Halloween-themed story. Get stuck in and make a witch’s wand or pinecone decorations. Storytelling won’t be too scary and is ideal for ages 2 - 8. Craft making is suitable for ages 2 - 10.
Spot our pack of grey wolves, who live alongside the brown bears in Bear Wood. Catch the interactive Bear Wood talk at 11.15am or 3.15pm to learn more about the wolves, bears, lynxes and wolverines, including busting a few myths and misconceptions about these amazing animals.

Follow the Barefoot Trail, take on the balance beams, explore the giant bird’s nest, and run, climb and slide on the climbing frames in the Fun Fort.
Step into the Lemur Walkthrough and find yourself face-to-face with our adorable lemurs! They’ll bound by your feet and climb above your head in the trees, with no barriers between you and them. Watch them get their lunch and catch the talk at 1.15pm daily.
Leap of Faith is an outdoor climbing adventure experience set within the grounds of Bristol Zoo Project. Climb, jump and swoop your way around the high ropes course which is fantastic fun for all the family.
